House Extensions North London...

When you think of an extension to family home, then you often think about them being installed as a way to make room for an expanding family.

Of course, this is often the case and many of the clients that we see will have this as their reason for having an extension built. However, this is not always the reason behind it.

This was definitely true of this home extension in North London.

The first part of this particular project was to not only add a single storey extension to the rear of the property, but also to ensure that the space in the lower floor of the house was more open too. The client preferred the set up of open plan living and wanted to have a spacious home that they could come together with their family.

In order to create their dream of open plan living, we needed to remove two of the walls and then install bi folding doors too. This opened up their space and made sure that it flowed beautifully.

Next, we were asked to convert their existing garage into a bedroom featuring an en-suite. The idea behind this was to allow the clients daughter to have her own space when she returned home from uni; giving her the freedom that she wanted whilst she was back home.

The design within this space was modern and stylish, although it was simple in its look, it actually has a real sense of elegance too.
